Born ‘Robert Lehane’ in Canada - Thirsty left for South America ten years ago, in search of adventure, inspiration and a little sunshine.

After a few years “off the grid” he ended up in South Florida  performing with  'The Castaways', along the coast to Key West.

In 2008 Thirsty released "Music from Somewhere Warm" - ten original songs backed by an eclectic cast of musicians from Miami and Vancouver.

His first professional gig was in Canada in 1975.

Thirsty soon hooked up with producers Gord Lord and Peter Clarke and spent the 80s and 90s performing in the popular Vancouver group ‘Wallstreet’.

As a party band, and a hit with the college crowd, they performed regularly at the famed ‘Commodore Ballroom’.  “It holds 1000-1500 people" Lord says, "and if we weren’t playing our own show they would tap us to open for many of the bands coming through town - from ‘Long John Baldry’ to ‘BTO’ it was quite a mix”

Wallstreet performed far and wide, from Port Moody to Puerto Vallarta, and continue to perform on the West Coast to this very day.

Thirsty was also a voice character for the FOX network Cartoon 'The Bots Master' in the 1990s.
